“So do not fear, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isiah 41:10

These word from the Prophet Isaiah were written over 2,700 years ago during a time when God’s people had been exiled from their homeland. They felt displaced, uncertain and anxious. The life they had known was now a distant memory. And what does God say to them? “Fear not” and then goes on to put the emphasis on Himself as the reason to not fear.

The phrase “fear not” or derivations of it are recorded throughout Scripture over and over again. In fact, I was curious as to how many times it was stated. I Googled the question. Any idea how often the phrase is repeated? According to one source, the phrase is stated 365 times! Isn’t that interesting….a “fear not” for every day of the year!

During these difficult Pandemic times when we feel displaced, uncertain, anxious and fearful, our great God reminds us in His Word that He is with us daily, will strengthen us, help and uphold us, so that we need not fear.

This verse is for you today and everyday! Make it your own and know the truth that our great God is with YOU! Always!

May the Lord Richly Bless you and Keep you,
