(Jesus said) “I AM…the Bright Morning Star” Revelation 22:16
When night is fading, and the morning light is coming, there is one star that continues to shine, the ‘Bright Morning Star.’ When one needs direction and other guides are gone, this stars continue to lend aid to where a person is and where they are going. Because of these truths, the “Bright Morning Star,” serves as a beautiful metaphor for our God who outshines the darkness of sin, gives us hope in a new day and lends guidance as we move forward into life.
Looking into the night sky and seeing so many stars, one can’t help but feel the expanse of our great God. Astronomers and scientists continue to try to understand and contain the universe, but their efforts are always left wanting and have only theories to explain it all. So is our God. The secular mind stares in wonder at Him but can never figure Him out so as to control Him. But the mind of faith has been given the revelation of Who He is and How He acts and What He desires for His creation of humanity. As we know His Word, so we Know His will and this bright revelation reveals a love so beyond us, and yet so close and intimate to us that it leads and guides and grants hope for each day.
By God’s Holy Spirit we live in this hope now and unto eternity!
