“And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age” Matthew 28:20
Feeling sad, angry, afraid? I know I am. That’s why I find the verse so comforting. Whatever I am feeling, wherever I may be, Jesus is there with me and knows how I am feeling. He is the One who spoke and calmed the storm, and He still speaks to us through His Word to calm the storms of our hearts and minds. Remember He is still in charge and has won the war even as battles wage on around us. Take comfort in His promises and great love for you and go to Him in prayer with all your concerns. Just as the classic hymn states so eloquently…
Just as I am, poor, wretched blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yes, all I need in Thee to find
O Lamb of God I come, I come!
