“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me!” Philippians 4:13
Now THAT is a powerful verse…all-inclusive and absolute. “All things”… “through Christ”….I love it! Oh, but in my earthly flesh, it is so difficult to really believe it. My “all things” include worldly, earthly, temporal wants and desires, but I know these are not that to which the verse refers. Christ Jesus has taken care of all things most essential. Our Eternal life!
We need not fear the devil’s assaults today or tomorrow or fear failure and opposition. Through Christ we have already succeeded, the victory is ours and we are eternally prosperous. And because of Christ, we will not be overcome, because we are over-comers. Our strength is recorded day by day! (Isaiah 40:3.)
As daily struggles and trials assault us, we do not rely on our own strength, but rather trust in Christ and His work of Salvation which gives us the Grace of God to endure.
Pray and live this Truth and memorize Philippians 4:13 for your daily life! And be blessed!
